DMCA Copyright Policy

In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), we have adopted the policy outlined below to address claims of copyright infringement. We reserve the right to:

  1. Remove or block access to any material that we, in good faith, believe infringes a copyright or has been unlawfully copied and distributed by any of our advertisers, affiliates, content providers, members, or users.

  2. Suspend or terminate service for individuals who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

Please note: by using CosyNora’s services, you agree to our Terms of Service, which include this Copyright Policy. Unless otherwise defined here, all terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available through our Services infringes your copyright (or the copyright of someone you are authorized to represent), you may submit a written notice of infringement to our Designated Agent. Your notice must include all of the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.

  3. Identification of the infringing material, including enough detail (such as URL or file location) to allow us to locate and verify the content.

  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. Contact details of the complaining party, including a physical address, telephone number, and (if available) an email address.

  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

What Happens After a Valid Notice Is Received

When our Designated Agent receives a proper DMCA notice:

  • We may remove or disable access to the identified material.

  • We may notify the content provider that their material has been removed or access disabled.

  • In cases of repeated infringement, we may terminate the content provider’s access to the Services.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If you are the content provider and believe that the removed or disabled material was taken down by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, along with the location where it appeared before removal.

  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your name, address, and telephone number (and, if available, email address).

  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside, or, if outside the U.S., the jurisdiction of any district where CosyNora is located, and that you will accept service of process from the original complaining party.

Restoration of Content

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may (at our discretion) forward a copy to the original complainant. Unless the copyright owner files a legal action seeking a court order, we may reinstate the removed material within 10–14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
